Visit to Zhangshu SWI

I already posted this but somehow it's missing. (this seems to happen occasionally) So if this posts twice-oh well.:) Today was a very emotional day. We visited Zhangshu SWI the place Leila has lived since she was 6 days old. We also visited her finding site which was on the steps of the Civil Affairs Office in Zhangshu City. We met Leila's nanny, a sweet woman.

Leila "meow meow"

I'm catching up today on a day or 2 of missed posts. Leila truly is a joy. We call her Leila but apparently at the SWI she was called Miao Miao which sounds like "meow meow" whenever we say it to her in our funny voice she thinks it's hysterical! She finds Daddy particularly funny!

Additional Pictures from Zhangshu

Since I'm having difficulty posting too many pictures at once, here are a few more taken in

Leila's room. Her crib was the one on the left. The crib in the middle belonged to her buddy Claire.

Gotcha day video

We were so fortunate to be in a group of only 3 families. This is a moment we'll remember forever!

Gotcha Day!

I'm having some difficulty posting to my blog lately. I had already written a "gotcha Day" post but it has somehow disappeared? We were so lucky to be in a group of only 3 families. They brought our babies to a common play area at our hotel. It was love at first site.

Tea House Pictures

I'm having a little difficulty with posting multiple pictures at a time. Here we are at the Tea House. What a great experience!

All the different Chinese Teas

Enjoying the demonstration

Tianamen Square

Today we went to Tianamen Square which was extremely crowded. I don't think I've ever seen so many people moving in so many different directions. It was very warm today (as always) but there wasn't as much direct sunlight as yesterday. After touring Tianamen Square we ate a delicious lunch (dare I say we may actually be getting used to the food here!) we then went to an authentic tea house where we were given a demonstration of all the popular teas in China and their significance. We're now enjoying a little down time at the airport waiting to fly out to Nanchang where the highlight of our trip is. We can't wait to meet our beautiful daughter!

So many people and it is hot!
